The first official Free Fire Map was ‘Bermuda’ and later more Free Fire New Maps were added. Playing in different maps provides the players with a refreshing experience. After Bermuda, Purgatory and Kalahari were added to the game. These three maps are still counted as the major maps of the Garena Free Fire. It can be explained by the fact that any of the official Free Fire Esports tournaments are played on these maps.

There are two more maps but they can be considered as minor maps. i.e. Bermuda Remastered and Bermuda MAX. These are the modified versions of Bermuda.
Free Fire New Map: After a long time, Free Fire is planning to bring a new original map ‘Shangri-la’ which will have different places, architecture, etc. It will be considered in the major maps list like the other three maps.

Free Fire New Map ‘Shangri-la’
This is the Free Fire New Map Shangri-la. It is more looking like the Bermuda Map but has some differences in structure and place. There are two rivers dividing the whole map into three parts like in the Purgatory map. You can see the Snowfall Area which will have snowfall all the time. The Railroad Location on the map may have some railway tracks. All together this map is going to impress us. It will give us a new experience in Free Fire.

It is expected to be released in January 2022 maybe in this new year. But there is also a chance for its release in the next patch update (Free Fire OB32 Update) which will be at the end of January or the beginning of February 2022.
